Welcome Back Bulletin

CDG Wolves Bulletin: Sept 1, 2026

As we begin a new school year, we hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, recharge, and make special memories with family and friends. A new school year brings fresh opportunities, new experiences, and exciting possibilities, and we are delighted to welcome our Wolves back for another year of learning, growth, and success.

Our staff is eager to support students as they discover new interests, take on new challenges, build meaningful friendships, and achieve their goals. We look forward to seeing our hallways filled with laughter, curiosity, and school spirit once again. Together, we will continue to build the strong, caring, and inclusive Wolves community that makes Chief Dan George Middle School such a special place.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Summer Office Hours: The school office will be open August 31st to September 4th from 8:30am - 2:30pm. If you need any in- person assistance, you can come to the school during these days/times to speak with office staff. As always, you can email the office at [email protected]

School Supplies: You can CLICK HERE to access the school supply list for the upcoming year. Once students are placed into their permanent classes, individual teachers may require additional supplies.

School Cash Online: The Abbotsford School District uses School Cash Online for all payments as well as field trip permission forms. If you have already set up an account at our school or another in the district you are ready to go. If you need to register, please CLICK HERE and follow the steps to make an account. We will be sending out information shortly regarding school fees and walking field trip permissions.

Communication with Families

Building strong partnerships with families is important to us. We value open, respectful communication and believe that working together helps support student success. Throughout the year, we will share important school information, celebrate the many accomplishments and activities taking place at Chief Dan George Middle School, and keep families informed about student learning and progress.

We encourage families to connect with us whenever questions, concerns, or celebrations arise. Whether in person, by phone, or electronically, our staff and administration are always happy to hear from you and work together to support our students. Our doors are always open, and we look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year.

Throughout the year, we will use the following platforms to share information with the community and celebrate our school:

School Messenger: This is our main format for sharing information including our weekly CDG newsletter which comes out on Fridays. School messenger allows us to email the community. We can also use it to call you with an automated message in emergency situations.

Chief Dan George Middle Website: We work to update our website on a regular basis throughout the year. It is a great place to get general information about the school, check out our weekly CDG Bulletin Newsletter as well as check out our school calendar.
Social Media: Chief Dan George Middle School has a very active social media profile where we are able to send reminders to our community and more importantly, share the amazing learning that occurs here everyday! Please be sure to check out our Instagram (@chiefdan_middle) and Facebook (Chief Dan George Middle School) accounts.
Bell Schedule: Please CLICK HERE to see our regular bell schedule for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This year, we have made a small change to our daily schedule, with students beginning each morning in their homeroom classes.

Day 1 - Day 2 Schedule: This year, we will be continuing our Day 1 - Day 2 schedule to make things easier and more consistent for staff and students. Fridays will alternate between Day 1 and Day 2. You can CLICK HERE to see the year-long schedule.

School Calendar: Chief Dan George Middle is a very busy place. Families are encouraged to CLICK HERE to access our school calendar. While we share the upcoming week in our CDG Weekly newsletter, this will allow families to look ahead to the rest of the school year.
