October 31 – Halloween Dance at lunch $1.00 entry proceeds going to the food bank
November 13 – Picture Retakes: for students who missed picture day, or students that signed up online.

Food Bank Fundraisers
Starting October 1^st, we will be collecting cash and non-perishable food donations in support of the Archway Abbotsford Food Bank. All donations will be collected daily from Oct. 1st- Oct. 17th. Last year we collected almost 900 food items and about $400. This year we have set a goal of 1200 items and $1000: that's an average of 2 items per student. Donations will be collected in the MPR daily at 8am. Thank you all in advance for your support of this worthy cause.

Each hot lunch will close 10 days prior to the hot lunch date. You can order all 3 at once which makes it nice and easy without the hassle of trying to remember to place your orders. It also saves the PAC money by cutting down the processing fee we get charged per transaction.

There are several menu options available for each vendor, please read them carefully!

Subway order deadline is October 20th.

For those who ordered coupon books, they will be handed out on Friday.

Beauty and the Beast Update
We will have seen almost 200 students audition and are very pleased with the outcome; however, we only expect to have 140 roles to fill.  We plan on posting the cast lists during the week of October 20th.

Beauty and the Beast Jr. Help Needed
Mme Bellavance is inviting anyone interested in helping make costumes or set pieces for our Beauty and the Beast Jr. Production to meet Monday, October 20 at 6:00 pm in the Home Ec Room. Please consider helping even if you don’t think your sewing or building skills are great. We need as many willing volunteers as possible. Beauty and the Beast Set Pieces
Are you thinking of getting a new Christmas tree this year? If so, we would love your old one. We are in need of artificial Christmas trees for the forest scene in our play. If you have a Christmas tree which you no longer need and are looking to donate, please consider bringing it to the school in its box and we will be happy to use it in our play. Merci!

Spirit Wear
Order your Chief Dan Spirit Wear on School Cash online!  Items available are hoodies, t-shirts, sweats, and toques. Sales are open from Oct 6-24th.  We hope to have all ordered clothing distributed to students by the end of November.
